Minecraft v 1.7.10 on Mac OS 10.6.8 iMac Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz. In the Users-Library-Application Support Folder there IS a minecraft folder. Therein there are many subfolders but NO bin folder and therefore no minecraft.jar file.
The game DOES run but without the bin folder we can't get to the minecraft.jar file for mods.
