Whenever I try to connect to any minecraft server, it either laggs severely for about 5 minutes and closes unexpectedly (sometimes with a Java(TM) SE Binary error) or immediately crashes. I am using the default vanilla client on unmodded servers. Is there a fix for this?
Consider reinstalling Java, removing all prior versions of Java from the machine from the control panel, then restart the computer. Grab the latest one here, http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
Consider getting the 64-bit version if you have a 64-bit computer.
