I'd like to start by saying stuttery isn't quite the right word but it's the best I can come up with.
I'm running Windows 8.1 and I have a dual monitor setup. One is an HDMI 1080i TV and the other is a D-sub monitor connected with a DVI adapter. Yes I know it's stone age. Cut me a break a guy isn't made of money. This is all running through a 2 gig EVGA GTX 750Ti video card. And I'm running the latest Java 7.
The problem is that when I have Minecraft on the big screen it runs great while when it's on the smaller monitor it becomes stuttery. And by stuttery I really mean nonresponsive. The mouse jerks the view and it freezes up and keyboard keys do absolutely nothing. This had been a problem before when I was ONLY using the TV and I had been able to solve it by uninstalling/reinstalling Java 7. This time it didn't work. So I played with all the graphics settings. VSync didn't fix it, AA didn't fix it, dropping all graphics settings to low didn't either.
I'm at a loss here and I don't know how to fix it. I know it's SOMETHING to do with the monitor because I've switched both back and forth from being the main monitor and I've even disconnected the 1080i and it still doesn't work. Has anyone else had this problem?
EDIT: Sorry about the double post. The forum timed out when I posted the first thread and I didn't see that it had actually posted.
