I recently updated my iMac from 10.6.8 to 10.9.4. I made a MASSIVE backup of my whole 400+ gigabyte system. The update was successful, and I went to my minecraft folder to extract a map i've been working on for a long time to publish it.... only to find that the .minecraft folder was missing. It can't be nonexistent, because i can play minecraft, but I can't find it, either in my system, or my backup. My iMac is v. 10.9.4, 4gb ram. made in dec. 2008. I would appreciate any help offered.
