I didn't know where i should post this, but i logged on to my minecraft like i do every day and went to multiplayer, and my 53 servers were gone. I used a backup from a couple weeks ago to see if i can get them back but nothing worked, i also checked my %appdata%\.minecraft (i'm on a hp) and still nothing worked, is there anyway I can get them back? And what cause them to be deleted? It was a new Windows 8 laptop with tons of memory.

Just get the IP address for these servers again , and I think this is the wrong section to post this .
Being a nerd is nothing to be ashamed of. Nerds rule the world! Who invented the internet? Nerds. Who created personal computers and smart phones? Nerds. Who made every video game you've ever played and ever will? Still nerds. Who sent probes to distant planets? Nerds, nerds and more nerds! I'm a nerd and I'm proud.
Some of those servers were private white list servers and the only comunication I had with the host was in the server, how would I get those ip's back?
