My younger brother has a proble which we have been trying to fix for a long time now. Whenever he tries to open his mineraft (Vanilla or Modded) no one else, be it me or his friends, are allowed to join, when we try it simply says "Connection Timeout"
I read it might be because Java was denied access through the fire wall therefore I checked through his Norman security suite in the permanent rules section and found that Java has "Only for LAN" unlike mine which is "OPEN". I dont know if this is the cause but i know mine is working.
If anyone knows how to fix this or any related information please respond
