Hey so I've been having this issue a lot and i cant figure out how to fix it and it really bugs me. I'm getting clear over 60 fps even over 100 fps and the game still looks very choppy and i have no idea how to fix it. I've also downloaded other launchers and they worked fine and then out of no where they started doing the same thing! For example I used Technic Launcher and Magic Launcher. Any ideas on how to fix this annoying issue?
I'd recommend turning off V-Sync (if you have it on). For me that screws things up. Also, you can try to use Optifine. Optifine has an option for Smooth FPS which helps a lot. The Smooth Chunk Loading option in Optifine sometimes helps, too.
Turning V-Sync has also helped for me with this issue, I was having the same symptoms being 100+ FPS but choppy so I continued to play around with setting I turned bobbing off and V-Sync off and it fixed the issue.
So have you tried the Smooth FPS (options/video settings/performance/Smooth FPS) setting in Optifine? I'd also try setting Chunk Loading to Smooth (options/video settings/Chunk Loading). If those don't work, try turning on Fast Math and Fast Render (options/video settings/performance/Fast Math + Fast Render).
