Ok ive managed to setup a server and download the client and get on to my own server and play and as can a few of my friends can get on my server.

Well I would like to add mods but im not sure what to do, I have version 1.7.10 and have all mods that are compatible with it, can someone give me a step by step process of what I need to do, what lanchers to use how to set them up and where to put the mods, how to make sure other on my server will have the same mods as the server side mods and what I need to give to the people that play on my server as far as files etc....

I would like more details ive played with this stuff for 2 days on youtube and researched it and im still lost.

Ok i have the forge server files and have them in a folder but as far as instaling mods or what lanucher or how to configure all this i have no idea this is far from what a orginal minecraft area.

Heres the picture of what i have and in the top right are the files that i created, can you explain what to do with them.

ok thats all well and good how do you creat a batch file for that code you gave me, everything ive tried dont work and how cant I start the server i have no idea what to click

ok now i have done that opened the server and now the server is working, as far as the mods i see the mod folder as you explained and i have opened the mods with winrar and dropped them in, let just say im going just to do one mod, will i have to drop the whole winrar packed archive in there or do i have to do every individual file.

When the mods are on the server side does that mean that when someone logs on my server that they will automatically have the mods also to use or will i have to do something else.

for some reason my mod files are ex cu jar files

I guess im asking how do i get the mod on the server, the mods folder you told be about is empty theres nothing in it and im at a loss on what to do.

well how do you put them on the client i have no idea where do i put them in the .minecraft folder somewhere or in the forger server file somewhere

ok Ive manage to get it all up and running and worked out most of the bugs thanks for your help
