Please help! Mobs spawning during the day after installing a Mod?!

Ok.. I've only been playing Minecraft for the past 3 1/2 days and I just installed Mineforge 10.12.2.1121 (recommended) & Mineforge 10.13.0.1179

So I could use the mod Journeymap.

I'm not sure if it's Mineforge or Journeymap, but now I have hostile mobs during the day. This wasn't always the case. Before I was able to explore and perform my work during the day with no worries.

Can someone please help?

You do understand that the mods don't die if they are in shade right?

The area underneath the tree is probably too dark, so the mobs can spawn.

It might be because of the shade under the tree
