im trying to launch my minecraft launcher and before it even opens it stops loading and says unable to download while being forced when i was just opening the launcher like any other time it gave me a fatal error saying:

at net.minecraft.bootstrap.Bootstrap.execute(bootstrap.java:95)
at net.minecraft.bootstrap.Bootstrap.main(bootstrap.java:381)
Please fix error and restart
the only difference betwwen the last time i opened the launcher and this time was i deleted everything in my .minecraft folder... am i stupid or did i just mess something up real bad
