I've had an issue with framerate for quite awhile. Not the usual "why do I only get 10 frames per second, this is only minecraft" problem, more like "It says I'm getting 170 FPS, so why does it look sub-30? And why are the frames skipping so much?". This has been going on for quite some time. I've recorded bits of minecraft at 60FPS in the past, and the ended up with a much higher framerate than the game itself had when I recorded it.
I've been looking this up for quite awhile now and so far nothing has worked. Reinstalling, allocating more RAM, updating ALL of my drivers, adjusting settings, resolutions, nothing. Is java just that bad, or am I missing something?
