A few days ago my minecraft game started freezing every couple of seconds. It will freeze, drop down to 0 fps, 0 chunks loading, then immediately resume 30-40 fps (my standard playing fps).
What happens:
Start world in minecraft
Open f3 screen.
Wait 2-3 seconds
Game will freeze for about 1.5 seconds
Resume movement for another 2-3 seconds
Repeat.
It doesnt happen in any specific part of my world. I have turned the render distance down to 4 chunks. I have tried it with all recent versions of minecraft (1.7.1->1.7.10), I have also tried using optifine 1.7.9. All other progams on my computer are closed, and on my Task manager CPU usage never exceeds 60% and physical memory usually stagnates around 75%.
I have a Fujitsu Tablet, witha a Core I5 processor and 4 Gb of Ram, with a standard intel graphics card. I used to run minecraft with 512Mb of memory but once this started happening I reverted it back to the standard 1Gb without any success.
As I stated this only started happening a couple of days ago, and has been fine for the past month. I cannot think of anything that has changed on my end but I am open to any possible solutions. If you have any ideas please let me know.
