This is possibly due to corruption with your world. Is this problem consisting? Is your computer relatively laggy? Whatever the cause may be, you should either ignore it, try going near it as that is what loads the chunk, or just don't try frapsing with it and let it be.

Just let it be? it kinda disturb me man.. like havin a massive deep black hole on my map..
It's not a black hole, it's a Chunk Error. Those happen, trust me. Try fiddling with your Fog settings, that should fix it. If not, try getting Optifine, as it has a Chunk Load setting. Try it and respond if it works or not.

ive gotten this before in my survival world. restarting will do nothing. best thing to do is go to the saves folder and right click then click properties and look in the recent backups. choose the backup before the problem. the hole is kinda solid if you step in you will sink and shake. but only a few blocks.
if you dont want to use backups the only suggestion i have is to put a tower around it. i tried building blocks ontop of the hole and nothing happened i heard block placing noises and blocks from my inventory went away butits still not there.
BUILDING ONTOP DOES NOTHING! RESTARTING DOES NOTHING !

im using optifine as you can see in the image. but hole still there. ive treid different chunk loading. multicore smooth loading but it no work. i clicked recreate world on world selector an its not there. its only on the one survival world

no because i didnt know about that until like 2 months later after i got that "forbidden hole of death" is what i call it. and i dont want to go 2 months backwards in my survival word so no i didnt do it.
