So I have a Gateway DX4831 which has 6 gb of RAM, 2.93GHz Intel i3 processor, Windows 7 Home Premium, and it's 64 bit. The computer was used but I reset it back to factory settings. When I play Minecraft, with or without Optifine, it only gets about 20 FPS. The weird part about it is that I have a Lenovo Z580 with the same operating system, 4 gb of RAM, and a 2.9 GHz Intel i7 processor. That computer runs an average of 35 fps without Optifine. I've downloaded the latest version of Java and have updated my graphics card. I just don't know what else to do.
