I've been playing a survival world for a few months and recently, whenever I would go to a certain area my FPS would drop to 0 and I would have to be teleported out in order to escape the lag. It only happens when a certain chunk in that area loads (I don't know which as it would heavily lag whenever it loaded) and it frustrates me heavily. The only mod that I have is Optifine. There are animals in that area (other than naturally spawning) and I have no farms in that area. Just to clarify, I was able to go into that area normally before without any problems. However I did downgrade from 1.7.4 to 1.7.2 and it may have started since then???
Ways I've Tried Fixing This:
Using MCEdit to delete the chunks in that area and reloading those chunks.
Setting my render distance to 2 chunks.
Using MCEdit to copy my buildings on that world to another world with the same seed.
Using MCEdit to copy the buildings that are not near the laggy area onto another world with the same seed
All of these methods haven't worked.
