I just decided to use mods. And I started by downloading the Scenter Mod. 1.7.2 I guess. I was using the demo version, then when I downloaded the mod, it was no longer demo. It was like I had the full game.. Explanation please? Do I still have the demo? Do I not? I don't see the timer. And, the graphics became bad. Like, some of the blocks are missing, and it's just a black shadow. And it's not clear. And, at one point I did something the screen went black and I was hurting myself. Like I could still see my inventory and health bar and food bar. But it was like I was trapped inside the block. It was wood. Also, I wasn't sure how to use the mod. It's supposed to create a trail to help me find different mineable ores nearby. But I couldn't figure it out. Somewhere on the internet, it said to press the "O" button. So I did. But it always just said some sort of message about shutting down internally or something, and then it closed my minecraft window. I'm really confused now, and don't know if I should just delete the mod or what. Please help! I thought I could mod the demo version. I read it somewhere. Since I can't go out and buy the game yet, because I haven't seen my dad yet, I've been playing the demo version for a while

No, I have not yet purchased the minecraft game. And what I mean by demo, is I downloaded the minecraft launcher or whatever, and it lets me play a demo version for 5 in game days (or 100 minutes). Then I have to either buy the full game or reset the demo world for another 100 minutes.

I went to minecraftmods.com, then went to the scenter seed, and followed the instructions on how to install it. I downloaded the mod, downloaded the forge thing. And followed the steps from there.
