Hello! I have been creating a mod pack for personal use, and i wish to know whether or not it is possible to disable mob spawning in a settings file or something. at the moment my survival starts with turning on LAN with cheats and disabling it manually, but i dont want to do that every time i start a new world. I know by doing this, normal mobs will not spawn, and the only thing that remains is my hunger, but the mods i installed still keep me on my toes. so, as said before, is there a way to do it once and be done with it?
I suggest use NBTEdit / NBTExplorer then edit your level.dat file, change the data>gamerule>doMobSpawning>False
