I'm trying to create a Galacticraft server for me and my friends, but every time I try to download FML into the server folder it freezes at "Unpacking packed file scala-compiler-2.10.2.jar.pack.xz" Here is what it looks like in cmd. Also I saw a thread that said to type in: -Xmx1024mjar but when I do that it says: "Invalid maximum heap size: -Xmx1024mjar Could not create the Java virtual machine." I know forge works on my computer because I have made a Galacticraft server before.

You dont need to use CMD to run jar files. Just do "right-click>open with..." then choose Java and see if that works. That's how I have always done it.

That's how I've been doing it but that doesn't work either.

I can't tell with the image but are you using Java 8? I have seen a few people doing that recently and not being able to run forge.

If thats not the problem have you tried the old method? Download the universal version of forge and the vanilla server jar: https://s3.amazonaws.com/Minecraft.Download/versions/1.6.4/minecraft_server.1.6.4.jar

Place them in the same folder then try the same command on the forge jar.
