I have been trying to download forge many times in the past before, and every time the file gets stuck on progress. The progress bar does not move at all and does nothing. I know some things don't install right away, but I let it sit for over an hour and the progress bar was still the same.
Is there anything that could be done to fix this problem? Am I doing something wrong? The file is a .jar file, and i'm on windows 7.
I have an attachment of what the installation window looks like and what it's stuck on.
Seen a bit of this around. Will find the topic with the fix real quick. May I ask what version of Forge you are using with what version of Minecraft?
If you are using Minecraft Version 1.7.2, then use Forge 10.12.1.1110, found here: http://files.minecraftforge.net/

I was going to upload the files you need, but I want to try one more thing first. Can you Download and install MultiMC and check if you are able download the files then?

I was able to install MultiMc, and was able to install forge. Is that all I need to do? If so, thank you so much! I appreciate it! This has been an issue for me for a while now, so thank you so much.
