I am running Minecraft 1.7.9 and I have NO mods/texture packs installed. I was playing on one of my maps and the game kind of crashed.. It was unlike any other crash I experienced- I was building a wall when the screen suddenly got black.. Then the game quit.
I Launched Minecraft and when I try to open my world it says Loading World/Building terrain. It stay like that for a while and then it returns me to the game menu. I have backups of the save but this recent one I had built new stuff so I really need this map recovered
Please help me recover this map as I have spent over a YEAR creating and building this map..
Note: Can I upload the map on dropbox for you guys to see?
We need the log after you've attempted to run the world. To make sure the launcher stays open: click Edit Profile, then check Launcher Visibility, select Keep Launcher Open and finally hit Save Profile.

Here's the link to the log as it is very big... I had to remove some too. but it was all the same at bottom
If your world got corrupted you can try to repair it with MCEdit. Open the offending world in MCEdit, press 'ctrl-i' and select 'Repair regions' in the dialogue which pops up. Once this has completed, save your world and exit MCEdit.
In order to remove entities from a map, follow these steps. Warning: This will delete any and all entities in the selected region, including tamed animals!bvOpen the map in MCEdit, select the affected region or use CTRL-A to select the whole world, then click on 'Delete Entities' in the menu on the left hand side.
To download MCEdit, go to http://www.mcedit.net/ and choose the version appropriate for your OS.
