ok so the other day (yesterday) installed Java 8 update 05, i am not sure it worked because the console said this:

i don't know what this means, but i think it means that i am still on a previous version of java (i installed the JRK (Java SE Runtime Environment 8u5) which i am 90% sure it is compatible with minecraft (not compatible but will work (i did notice a difference with the FPS but i did reformat the hard drive 1 hour before testing it so i am not sure))
can somebody please tell me if i have java 8 on minecraft but if i don't, can somebody tell me:
A. If i installed the wrong package and what package i will need
B. An official oracle download link to the most recent compatable java version and the package for minecraft
PS. I RUN A MAC OS X VERSION 10.9.4 IT HAS A 2.5 GHz INTEL CORE i5 PROCESSOR, 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 MEMORY, AN INTEL HD GRAPHICS 4000. AND A 64 BIT OPERATING SYSTEM.
