This happens to my old map when ever I open it in minecraft but it doesn't show with mcedit before I open it.



These messed up chunks always happen but they're always in different places but commonly occur in some places specifically.

Are you running Minecraft on different verisons?

Ok looks like wrong located chunks.

U can use MC-Edit to remove them. (www.mcedit.net)
Or the Commandline Tool "Minecraf-Region-Fixer" to do this (http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-tools/1261480-minecraft-region-fixer)

U can also upload u world as an compressd file to an filehoster and we fix it for u.

I tried region-fixer. I ran it on a save of my world before and after being loaded into minecraft. regardless of what I did the region-fixer said it found nothing wrong.

So am i just screw? I need a method to make this map the way it is before the chunks go awry nothing more nothing less. Is there anything I can do?

The only thing u can do is to pic the wrong chunks in Mc-Edit and delet them and regenerate them.
That take some time but i think its pay the work. .-)

Regenerating wouldn't help because I need it to be exactly what it was; so I think ill try re-loading the world until I get a version with minimal missing chunks then ill just copy and paste the missing chunks from a clean version of this map with no corruption and if that doesn't work congrats minecraft is a building game in which you can't make thing with out them being randomly destroyed.

If u got massive Chunk Problems its more aboulof an Minecraft Mod or some problems on u PC. (aggressive Virus scanner Memory Error .....)
