New Minecraft launcher won't work.

Hello please help, When i start up the launcher its normal and when i click play, it closes the launcher and then does nothing,

Only when I put my settings on that. Sorry It took me a while to reply,

What happens is when I click play, It closes the Launcher, I see a crafting table and it goes away and, the Launcher won't come back if I don't have it set on the settings*

There is a Error that Repeats 21 times:

[17:33:46 ERROR]: java.io.IOException: Stream closed

And then It says

[17:33:46 ERROR]: Game ended with bad state (exit code 1)
