So I just got the PC version of Minecraft after playing the Xbox version for about a year. After spending a few hours working on my current house, I saved and exited (correctly, so that's not the problem), but after getting back on, I noticed something weird. All of my torches and stair blocks were gone. Nothing else, though, so I figured it was no big deal. But I ended up just getting off before fixing anything.
Next time I get on, I notice that both of my chests FULL of stuff, are gone as well as my furnaces and crafting table (but not my inventory). So, ticked off this time, I got off immediately without doing anything else.
Today, I decided to try mods out, and after logging in I noticed that my armor and inventory were gone, and every...single...tree....as far as I can see into the distance. Seriously, what the hell is going on? I know this is the unmodded section for support, but my problem obviously started before I did the mods.

I've also noticed that the light from some of my torches are still there even though the actual torches are gone. Only for a few of them, though.
