I have been playing Minecraft on my laptop for the past year or so and I normally get around 150 fps (without Optifine.) I went on vacation a few days ago and i brought my laptop with me to play single player. When i got down there, my fps went down considerably to about 30fps. I assumed it was a random lag spike, but when i got home today, my fps is staying around 15-20. After noticing the lag, i did the following:
Updated Java
Defragmented my hard drive
Ran a virus scan
Deleted .minecraft and installed a fresh file
I don't know what to do anymore. Please help.
PC Specs:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)
System type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor
Does it compromise my privacy?
No. A DxDiag log only gives information on what specific hardware and drivers that are present on your current machine, and does not provide any personal information.
It would be best to post it here so the rest of the community can help.

If that doesn't help perhaps a DxDiag can help us further know what is going on.
I will install the drivers and if it doesnt work i will leave my DxDiag here.
Okay, after updating the drivers, i still am getting 7-15 fps... what exactly do you need from the DxDiag? Do you have an email i can pm you at?
