I game keeps freezing if certain spots and not other areas.
I have set my java arguments to -Xms3G -Xmx3G with no luck.
I am using java 64 bit and running windows 7. I am using a Nvidia geforce GTX 660m video card with the current 337.88 drivers installed. I have an i5 processor 2.90Ghz. with 8 gig of ram.
I have added java to the manage 3d settings and no luck.
what else can I do to stop the game lags?
I am also using minecraft 1.7.9 and server version 1.7.9.
update. now I am getting this error 'open gl driver':
Your hardware configuration does not meet minimum specifications needed to run the application. the application must close.
After looking at your edit, it appears to me that either your graphics card driver needs an update, or is not powerful enough to run that game. Try the following steps: If you are on Windows 7, go the Start and type in the search box "Update device drivers" and open the program. You should see something like this: http://gyazo.com/396d352484968ffc7baab65ae73431a9 After that, open the "Display Adapters" and right click on your video card, and click "Update driver software". Let me know how it goes, good luck!
