Hello I am fairly new to minecraft but haven't had problems really modding other games but this one confuses me first I am running on an older version of minecraft 1.7.2 and I have minecraft forge 1.7.2 and the mods I have say they are compatible with 1.6.4 and 1.7.2 mo creatures and the custom spawner for it I have tried many things to get them to work I have deleted the meta inf file but then was told it is an old method so started using minecraft forge I have my mods in the folder and forge is in my .minecraft folder and the game runs fine but the mods wont load if someone could give me a step by step or refer me to a tut video I would really appreciate it I have lost all my maps in this process and would suck to stop now after losing items that I have worked on for almost a month

I will check them again but as I said the page I got it from says compatible with both and only had 1 download link


EDIT: misread what it was saying found the home page for mo creatures trying the right version now'

EDIT: I had the mods for version 1.7.2 but no matter what I did a mod tab would not appear so I went back to 1.6.4 and the mod tab is there before I add the mods in but after I put the 1.6.4 versions in the mods folder and start the game it will go to the mojang screen for a few seconds then close I would like to get the mods working on 1.7.2 but either version is playable any help would be greatly appreciated

I had someone use team viewer earlier but wasn't much help honestly tried to get me to download keinett but don't want it anyway heres my crash report
EDIT: oh yea I had a problem at one point with forge saying there was no launcher in the specified folder or w/e but it shows I have one in .minecraft folder

ok well im trying to download the correct version of forge now but it says that 'the directory is missing a launcher profile please run the launcher first' but I have run the launcher already multiple times I have even deleted minecraft completely and redownloaded but no launcher appears in the .minecraft folder
