I'm trying to get my minecraft game to work for my son. I tried updating Java, uninstalling and re-installing and the game is still not working. he was able to play when we first got the game in November of last year, now for the past months when we get into the game and click on single player or options or anything the screen freezes. We do have an older computer is it possible that now that there are newer versions our computer does not have the system requirement's for the updates? Can we use the older version that used to work?
