Hello! This is my first post

So today I just got home from a trip.I started up minecraft just fine,So i press Multiplayer and MC stops responding.About 10 minutes after it responds it brings me to my list. Then if i press refresh it does it again.I reinstalled Java 7 and I uninstalled it and install JRE 6 and it still wont work. And now when i open my laucher it just closes itself please

EDIT:I uninstalled all my Javas and installed the java the launcher told me to download
everything is fine i can go to Singleplayer and options but when i press multiplayer it stops responding

Could we have some sort of crash log? Or does it not give you one in .minecraft\crash-reports (or something like that)

I can't think of any reason why this would be happening. If there's any more information you could provide us with, any little detail, that would be fantastic.

Try going into your .Minecraft and deleting (or moving) servers.dat from the folder. This could be corrupt, which may be what's causing the crash to occur (whenever it loads)

Nope I deleted the file and it still stops responding :I

I just deleted my whole Minecraft folder and its still doing it ....

This might sound dumb, but do by any chance have a recource pack (texture pack) activated at the time?

He deleted his whole .minecraft, which includes all resourcepacks (I'm assuming).

I've never had this problem before, but a quick search brought me to a more official bug report.

If you look there, that has the log that is most likely the one you are getting, so that may help you further on this topic.

Ok so i also disabled my antivirus for a bit and still doesnt work.
And when i got to my server list i typed a ip and it wont show anything

EDIT:Now when i start the launcher it crashes again for some reason my log is in here

EDIT#2: I also disabled my firewall and still doesnt work
EDIT#3:Woo i fixed it for some reason when i uninstalled java and installed java 7 update 60 it worked just fine,thanks anyways

So, here's where your problem is...

[17:50:34] [Client thread/INFO]: Stopping!

So the exact problem is the "Invalid session id" so, why does this happen? Because the authentication server is sending an unexpected packet, and that's why the error can vary from not being able to join realms, not being able to join servers, to not even being able to start the game.

What I suggest is logging out of all mojang accounts in browser and on the Minecraft launcher, and then log back in. If it still isn't working, try going onto https://mojang.com/ and changing your mojang password, then verifying it via e-mail, and then try logging off and back on again. Sometimes the sessions and authentication servers don't communicate back to the user in the desired way, and this is usually caused by some sort of antivirus or firewall messing with the packets.
