I'm looking for the best way to maintain a template for my worlds that I build in case they are destroyed by a sudden burst of creeper mania.
What I tend to do:
- Create World in creative
- Change world to survival after working on it
- Save a template version of the world WITH the changes before I change it to survival
What is the best way to do this? Is there a simple way and I'm just dumb?
Go to your .minecraft folder, open it, go into versions, find the version that you are using, go into saves, find the folder named the world that you were in and copy it.

Thanks a bunch
