Minecraft Forums

Hi everyone, thanks for looking at the post. I have been having trouble with this problem for a while, and eventually gave up and turned to the forums. I run windows 8, and use norton antivirus. All of a sudden a few weeks ago, when I attempted to open minecraft, and absolutely nothing happened. Since then I have tried redownloading the game off of chrome and internet explorer, yet nothing happens. I can't get the program to open, much less log in or play. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
