Okay, so, I recently god a new computer it works (worked) minecraft like a breeze, full specs, maximum lighting, 16 chunks, but recently if been doing 20 frames at worst graphics, lighting off and 11 chunks! Now, my question is, if I were say uploading a video to youtube or saving a video I just edited onto my computer from Windows Movie Maker, and while it was loading played, could I start lagging? This is my only idea. Please reply, and in advance, thank you.

Ways to speed up Minecraft:
1.Close all background applications (Google,Music players etc..)
2. Set Minecraft's Priority to High in task manager.
3. Install optifine
