I have looked up videos for the past two days and read abut 15 guides on how to download mods and make them work. The mod im trying to get to work is Biomes o Plenty. I have modforge downloaded and running fine in Minecraft but for some reason I cannot get biomes o plenty to work. So after watching videos I noticed how they would simply drag the mod into the mods folder and bam it works. However my mods download as a folder. On the videos I watched it downloaded as something else entirely. It is most likely what happens for most people but for some reason I cant find out how to get mine to look like theirs. It looks like a document with the java symbol. So any help would be lovely. Thanks.

Please be more specific on: Forge Version, Minecraft Version, BOP Version, OS, and the things listed above^^^

Forge 1.7.2 same for biomes o plenty I am downloading that from minecraft forum page about the mod with the link there. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1495041-172-forge-biomes-o-plenty-were-back/ link here. Minecraft version 1.7.2.

I saved it as a Compressed zip File... Only one I could save it as... and saving it to my desktop
