I noticed today that any movements started getting glitchy, then any action I would do would take a few seconds for anything to show up on the screen. I updated Java and restarted my computer, but it's still doing it. Weirdly enough, it doesn't happen right away when I launch the game, it takes at least a minute or two. What could be a fix for this?
If your world got corrupted you can try to repair it with MCEdit. Open the offending world in MCEdit, press 'ctrl-i' and select 'Repair regions' in the dialogue which pops up. Once this has completed, save your world and exit MCEdit.
To download MCEdit, go to http://www.mcedit.net/ and choose the version appropriate for your OS.
