So for the past two or three months I've been missing out on playing my favorite game online. No servers work. The text says "Cant't connect to server" This problem began when I updated the launcher. I currently use OSX Mavericks and need help.
Unfortunately it won't even tell me what version it is. I've recently went down all the way to 1.6, and that didn't make any difference. It never gets past "can't connect to server"
For me, when I click Multiplayer the server version is displayed just below the name. Can you try doing this on the latest version of the game and see if it works for you? Then you would just change your version to the one of the server. As a side note, currently most servers I know of use 1.7.4 or 1.7.2
