OUTDATED GRAPHICS HELP

Hey Minecrafters, basically my laptop runs windows vista originally but i upgraded to windows 7 , minecraft worked fine, i have since recently upgraded to windows 8 (yes my laptop has perfect specs to run windows 8) and minecraft wont run. it comes up and says i have outdated graphics and it takes me to a page (AMD WEBSITE) to download the latest driver, however both Device Manager and the AMD tool says my graphics are fully updated and that there arent any new ones? any help with this? or should i just downgrade back to windows 7?

You might want to phone AMD and ask them what how you can fix that since you are actually having an issue with your video card, not Minecraft.
