Hi, I've been having a tough time re-finding my underwater base in a creative world I've started. At some point mid-construction, I discovered the save file was corrupted, so after searching around I discovered a means of fixing it, but it came with a catch; you'd be randomly spawned in the world of your save. It took me some time to re-find the coordinates (I'd forgotten I'd saved them in my computer) but I did, and so I decided to head over to them today.
I got to said coordinates but my structure was no where to be found. Below are the original coordinates plus the addition of a screenshot of when I go to those coordinates:
Original coordinates (there are two sets cause the structure is BIG) and you can see some of the structure
Current location of those coordinates (before you say anything about this forum being for non-modded minecraft saves, I started this structure without ANY other content downloaded and I ONLY used the TooMuchTNT mod late into construction to eliminate the water inside the dome (which is why it says I have mods active))
And before you say something along the lines of ''Why not make another one?'' ...My answer to that is this is what I hope to get back so I can finish it once and for all:
Your procedure of "fixing" the world may have reset the chunks of where the structure is. What I might suggest is explore using MCEdit and find the structure that way, if it's big it shouldn't be hard to find.

I've heard of that tool, and actually, your explanation of the chunks resetting makes sense, especially when I accidentally came across this little ''wonder'' on the way:
