Ok, normally I can handle these problems by myself but this is just crazy. I just was cleaning out my PC and I ended up deleting my extra minecraft shortcuts, bad idea so I just re-downloaded minecraft and tried to launch it like normal, didn't work. So I got rid of all my minecraft files and re-downloaded, didn't work. Then where I screwed things up REALLY bad was when I got java involved so I deleted all java programs and re-installed everything. Now it is saying "The registry refers to a nonexistent Java Runtime Environment installation, OR the runtime is corrupted." I am normally good with these problems but I am really stumped with this one. I went into the registry editor that is automatically in windows 7 and i tried to delete javasoft and it won't let me do that either. Please somebody help.

The same thing has happened to me and from what ive seen a ton of people. What I did was download the JDK. Now I have no clue how this fixed it, but it may for you. Go to oracle (the same place you downloa java) and download the JDK. Like I said, this may not work. It just worked for me.
remove all instances of java via windows control panel, then install the current vversion, 64 bit is you have 64bit windows http://www.java.com/...load/manual.jsp
I have tried this already but I will try again. BTW cute cat :3
Edit: Ok, just uninstalled java and it said it was disabled in the browser so I went to the Java Control Panel and here is what I got.
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\javaw.exe"
-Xbootclasspath/a:C:\Program Files
(x86)\Java\jre7\bin\..\lib\deploy.jar"
-Duser.home="C:\Users\Owner"
com.sun.deploy.panel.ControlPanel
For MC, I still don't have java runtime Environment so MC is still not working. I tried to system restore the computer but one file messed something up so the system restore didn't work. This is going to be a pain in the butt isn't it?

Well when I go to download it there is only x86 and x64 and I run a x32.
