Every time I try to start up Minecraft for the past week it freezes at the mojang screen and stops responding so I have to end the process in the task manager. I don't have any mods installed and I have no idea what to do to fix it, so if anybody knows what I should do please help me out.
First, go to the Programs and Features in Control Panel (Add and Remove Programs on XP). Uninstall everything that says Java in the name. Reboot the computer, then, go to http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp to re-install Java.
Please grab the 64-bit version if you have a 64-bit computer.
