Whenever you open a chest, your cursor is supposed to stay in the middle of your monitor so its easy to grab items from your inventory or chest.
But when I open a chest, my cursor is instantly moved to the bottom-left area of my monitor and I have to slide my mouse way over to get to the items in my chest or inventory. It might sound snobby of me, but it's honestly annoying to have to do that "extra distance" every time with the mouse to get to my items.
I am running a few mods... -Optifine -Damage Indicators -Rei's Minimap -CraftGuide -Inventory Tweaks -DivineRPG but even when I play vanilla minecraft, this still always occurs. I've changed my fullscreen settings to every resolution possible as well as mess around with all of the video settings and haven't found a solution. It doesn't do this in windowed mode so it has to do something with the game being in fullscreen mode. Like I said, I've changed the resolution to every one possible, and that doesn't change anything.
Any ideas or info would be greatly appreciated =D -sodafountainjoy
The only answer I can give you is: Go back to Windows 7!
I also had A LOT of problems with Win 8/8.x and Gaming.
I can't help you any further. I'm Sorry.
Well... That's stupid.

Seriously... Windows 8 is not the problem.
Keep your resolution default and try again
