I just installed minecraft 1.7.9 onto an older machine. When I go to Single Player it acts like it's building the terrain but then pops up with the Internal Exception:Jave.Lang.ClassCastException: BLL cannot be cast to FV error.
The only thing that helps to clear it up is to shut down the system and reboot.
I installed this same version on another older machine (for my niece and nephews computers) and it works fine.
By the way, all we do is sign on with our email and password. I know nothing about servers although I'd like for them to be able to play Multiplayer. Is all I have to do is download that server that is listed on Minecrafts website?
I've changed the video options setting the chest to 2 chunks and fps to unlimited...doesn't help. I've seen some people on the internet talking about changing the coding but I do not know how or where to go for that. All I have is what minecraft gave me when I bought it.
Lastly, if you've been playing offline for months and decide you want to go online, if you upgrade your version of minecraft, does it override what you've created already?
i have been on same server for 2 years ... im an admin there and just now just today i lost connection unexpectedly and cant get back in i get this SAME message exactly and i am in skype with others that are still in the server so it is still up and running for them.
i can get on any other server just fine even an alt server on same host run by same person just not the one i have been on for ever.
its totally weird if i couldn't get on any server i would think it on my end
if no one could get in or at least someone else them it most likely there end
this just makes no sense
