More specifically, on clicking the multiplayer button. I can't say clicking singleplayer or even options wouldn't cause it, since I'm -always- clicking multiplayer and this has only happened twice in as many days, but so far that's the situation.
I'm using GLGS 1.7.5 shaders, SEUS v10.1, Chroma Hills texture pack for SEUS and Optifine 1.7.5, all of this with version 1.7.5, obviously. The bluescreen error is something like 0xa0000001, and I've seen other posts relating this to insufficient power to the GPU or GPU overheating, both of which shouldn't be the case here; My GPU rarely goes past 62 celcius and I'm running a Radeon 7870 with 650w corsair power supply. This setup has worked without error for 6 months.
I have only gotten the error twice, and both times were upon loading minecraft and clicking multiplayer. Yesterday I used the official launcher (as I had been doing without issue) and ran the desired version (1.7.5-Shaders-Optifine.jar etcetcetc) when it happened. Today it was through magic launcher (which I have also used successfully) with my allotted RAM set to 4gb, which I thought might prevent future BSODs.
Another poster mentioned the same BSOD, but I do not have the mod being blamed in this thread. Any ideas what could be causing this or what could fix it? I'm really hoping this is just a minecraft issue and not my computer trying to take an early trip to Valhalla. It's not yet time for that.
