is there a way to adjust optifine settings so I can get very far render without having to walk to the chunk? say I want to see a mountain miles away, but I don’t want to have to walk to it. I can see the world loading, but it stops at a certain distance.
vanilla ^
optifine ^
on both instances, I’ve just loaded the game and I haven’t moved from that spot
I’m running minecraft 1.7.9 on 4GB. (I can allot a bit more if needed. or am I just wasting space? haha)
I’ve set both render distance sliders to max
should I mess with the mipmap settings/ anisotropic sttings? (not sure what these are… would these make a difference?)
should I turn fog on or off?
any help would be appreciated! :>
