I host a Tekkit Server that a few friends and I play on. On the same computer I usually run the Tekkit Launcher and play the game. I have had no problems for the last few days until today. Today I started getting "Low Memory" pop ups from the OS claiming that Java has to be shut down in order for the system to run. I ignored them and had no problems. Eventually I started getting them every ten minutes so I found a way to shut them down. Then it ran perfectly.
Then i started having CTD with the Minecraft client. I allocated more ram to minecraft and still the problem persisted. I decided to turn on the error reporting that I had shut down earlier and yet the problem still exists.
The odd thing is, there's nothing different between my computer today and my computer yesterday. And I know my computer is capable of running Tekkit just fine. I'm just wondering why I can't stay in a game for longer than five minutes now.
