Only one of my world saves is locking up and subsequently crashing while on the "Loading World // Building Terrain" screen. I noticed prior to this that the save was increadibly slow at times, even to the point of undoing block removal. The last time I was able to even load the save, I noticed a swarm of black sheep and about the same amount of dropped black wool hiding behind a mountain that given the lag, I could not attack them just to clear them out. The crash report will be posted below, and would like to know if there's a solution to my problem that I can take besides starting a new save.

If your world got corrupted you can try to repair it with MCEdit. Open the offending world in MCEdit, press 'ctrl-i' and select 'Repair regions' in the dialogue which pops up. Once this has completed, save your world and exit MCEdit.
You may also need to remove the entities from the world. Warning: This will delete any and all entities in the selected region, including tamed animals! Open the map in MCEdit, select the affected region or use CTRL-A to select the whole world, then click on 'Delete Entities' in the menu on the left hand side.
To download MCEdit, go to http://www.mcedit.net/ and choose the version appropriate for your OS.
Thanks for the help cestislife, my save now opens and runs thanks to MCedit. I'll probably view a tutorial later to get better with the program in case I need to make a major edit from outside again.
