Hi, I just got back to Minecraft because my friends started playing it again.
I found out soon that I had a bug that makes me have glitched textures if anyone drops items in my 5 chunk proximity. One of the ways I found out to fix it for a short while was to pick the item up and reload the Resource Pack. I updated my GFX drivers and Java, reinstalled Minecraft and deleted it's Appdata folder.
If anyone can help me get a decent long-term solution, please tell me how.
Also, here's a video of the bug:
Specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo E7500
ATi Radeon HD 5450
AMD CCC 14.4
Win XP SP3 32-bit.
Does this happen with the default textures? If not, it may be an issue with the resource pack you are using instead.
Please provide a screenshot for those who do not wish to view the video, or are on a metered connection (like me). Please also provide your DxDiag log for full system specifications, http://www.minecraft...g-a-dxdiag-log/
You do not seem to have the latest drivers. (Driver Date/Size: 6/11/2012). Please install the Catalyst Software Suite here, you may want to remove your existing drivers before doing so. You can do so from the installer as well. http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows 7 - 64

What?
I installed Catalyst 14.4 just yesterday.
Also that is for Windows 7 64-bit, and I run Windows XP SP3 32-bit.
Catalyst says this: http://puu.sh/9iAlO/8f4d6dbf94.png
It's maybe not 14.4, but it's not the 2012 build one...
Deinstalled the current drivers, now it's a hastle that I forgot to reinstall them.
And well, your log does not lie, take a look for it yourself. Your drivers are dated 2012. Your installation may have not been effective, as I said, it may be good to remove the drivers before installing new versions.

Thanks! It works corretly now!
