So I was sitting at Panera Bread today and I tried to connect to my favorite server. I logged in just fine but when I got to the multiplayer page none of my saved servers were up. It said "could not connect" for all of them. When I looked in some of the logs I found this error.
[WARNING] [Minecraft-Client] Unable to start LAN server detection: Can't assign requested address
Any ideas?

It seems that the launcher was unable to create a socket (an external connection) to those servers you mentioned.
As most Minecraft servers run on port 25565, there is a possibility that that port is being filtered. Seeing as LAN servers are broadcasted over a local address to port 4445, it is probably port filtration to blame.
If this is the case, there is really nothing you can do unless you have administrative access to their router.
