So, I have been having problems with Minecraft. It is automatically installing itself into my C drive, which is where my operating system is installed, and it is constantly running out of memory. I have been trying to make it to install in my D drive, but it keeps going back to the C drive. Is there a way for me change it so that minecraft isn't doing anything to my C drive at all?
You can attempt to have the game data stored onto the other drive by changing the game directory when you click "Edit Profile" from the launcher. Note that this only changes where the world data, etc will be stored. The core game will always be in the C:/ directory.

Okay, that sucks. Thank you for your help.
