I am sorry for asking this when its been answered in many other topics, but I need some help in increasing my Minecraft's overall performance.

I have already:

Used the readyboost tool (I don't care what other people say, readyboost has immensely raised my laptop's speed, also adding my laptop's ram is 4Gigs.)

Used razer game booster

Had optifine installed

and made very smart tweaks with the razer game booster (thanks to a friend!)

What i'm basically asking is "is there any more methods I could use?".
My minecraft used to run at 12 fps, now it runs at 26 at most with the above changes.
My goal is to hit the ~40 fps range.

So asking again:

Is there any more ways to improve Minecraft?

What are your specs?

Really all you need is 30 FPS for very comfortable performance. Your already doing really well, besides physically increasing your specs I don't think there is much you can do besides getting a 8x8 bit texture pack
