every time i try to start minecraft (no matter what version) it goes back to the launcher... i keep getting this message:

Try deleting your .minecraft folder and open up the launcher again. Make sure to back up any saves that you have before doing so. In case you don't know how to find the .minecraft folder, search %appdata% and open up the roaming folder. That is where the folder should be.
